All DRNC furniture is handcrafted using time-honored custom furniture building techniques by our experienced craftsmen. We use only the finest raw materials including, select kiln dried hardwood frames, tempered steel suspension systems, and premium handpicked leathers and fabrics. Frames

Frames are thoroughly dried 5/4 or greater hardwood or structurally engineered laminated hardwood to give superior strength without warpage. All joints are glued, dowelled, nailed and corner blocked for additional reinforcement. Exposed wood turnings and posts are custom finished hardwood maple. All frames are constucted using individual 8-way hand-tied seating coils mounted on a solid polypropylene base reinforced with steel bands for extra comfort and durability. Back and Seat Cushions

Seat cushions are constructed using a core of 1.8 density virgin polyurethane foam with a crown patch top and bottom, wrapped in 2 ounces of fiber and placed in a sewn cover. Spring down and ultra down seat cushion options are available. Spring down has spring coils in a polyurethane core that is wrapped in a layer of fiber and inserted into a down blend and fiber tick. Ultra down has an upgraded foam core inserted into an oversized down blend and fiber tick for a softer, more relaxed look. Both options add approximately 3 inches to the height of the seat cushions. Back cushions and pillows are fiberfill blown into a channeled bag. Like seat cushions, back cushions may be upgraded to a blend of fiber, feathers and down. Sleepers

Most of our sofas and loveseats can be modified to accommodate a sleeper mechanism. These sleepers use cross-band steel on top and bottom and top quality bi-fold commercial mechanisms to withstand heavy usage. The mattress is a 5" innerspring with quilted sateen ticking that withstands repeated folding.

Casters or Swivel Bases

Dual-wheel or ball casters can be added on some styles for an extra charge. Most chairs can be modified to accept a swivel base for an extra charge. Call our Customer Service department at 1.888.565.8130 for more information.
